ABOUT

​

New Amsterdam Film Loopers LLC is a 16mm film equipment supplier, based in New York City, United States. We offer both rental, and full-service installation of 16mm film equipment for exhibition purposes. 

Our 16mm looper unit, available for rent, allows for uninterrupted play of short works on film. Intended for any artist who wishes to present their work in an analog form, within a gallery or museum setting. No projectionist necessary.

ORDERING POLICY

​

Equipment bookings should be made through owner and technician, Ian.

All bookings are based on a first-come, first-served basis taking into account the availability of requested equipment.

Please allow 48 business hours for us to return your correspondence. After you email us, we will follow up with you as soon as possible with a lease agreement, a document containing an estimated quote for your equipment rental. This agreement form must by signed by both parties and returned to us, in order for your booking to be held.

INVOICE POLICY 

​

• Payment can be sent via a payment app or wire transfer. Cash and check are also acceptable.

• The individual or organization which issued the order will be invoiced after the close of the exhibition. The contact person listed on the lease agreement will be held responsible for payment. 

• All invoices must be paid within 30 days of the issue date, unless prior arrangements have been made with New Amsterdam Film Loopers LLC.

• All shipping costs (if applicable) will be charged to the client.

TRANSPORT POLICY

• New Amsterdam Film Loopers LLC is based in New York City, United States. We provide low cost transportation of equipment (depending on equipment quantity) to NYC addresses. 

• For all North American bookings (outside of New York City), Fed-Ex is the preferred carrier. 

• If you would like to organize the shipment yourself, please provide (by email), all transport details that you have made with your own carrier. 

• For equipment bookings outside of the Americas, contact our sister organization, Studio M / Amsterdam Film Loopers.

INSURANCE POLICY

​

• Any damage to equipment, which requires replacement or repair, will be charged to the client. 

• The exhibitor is strongly advised to insure all equipment. The insurance value will be listed on your lease agreement. 

• For instances in which equipment is rented by an organization, it is the responsibility of the organization member listed on the lease agreement to make sure that the organization carries adequate insurance. 

• For bookings outside of New York City, New Amsterdam Film Loopers LLC reserves the right to demand transport insurance and to refuse the release of any or all equipment if the client is unable to supply transport insurance. 

• New Amsterdam Film Loopers LLC does not provide insurance. The client (and related organization) is responsible for any damage to the equipment. 

• Equipment belonging to New Amsterdam Film Loopers LLC shall not be under-leased, loaned, disposed of, or sold to any person, production, or organization, in any manner. All rented equipment shall at all times remain under the immediate control and direction of the client. 

• Please take care of all equipment. Most of our items are rare or unique. ​​​
